The Pacers point guard said after Saturday’s win over Denver that he had a long talk with his infant son, Zayden, who told him to cut it.
“Now I’m just going back to the basics,” Hill said.
On May 7th of last year, the Indy native colored his hair blonde and kept it through the New Year. His longtime girlfriend, Samantha Garcia, even approved of it.
During the photo portion of media day back in late September, teammate Paul George joked with Hill and pulled in newcomer Chase Budinger for a picture with the blondes.

I can’t blame Hill. He’s got enough on his plate being an NBA starter for a playoff team in the Eastern Conference and now with a son, Zayden Jaxon Hill.
To maintain a fresh blonde look, Hill has to have his hair cut and colored, what, every week? Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Arguably the best moment during the nine-month stretch came with the Pacers played at San Antonio, Hill’s first stop in the NBA. He has a great relationship with many of the Spurs, including head coach Gregg Popovich.

Pop was asked about George Hill's hair: "I love it. I wish I had the guts he has. That could really turn some heads."

The Pacers are 1-0 since Hill went back to his natural look.
