CINCINNATI — The Indiana Pacers were at David West’s alma mater, Xavier University, in Cincinnati, Ohio for their fourth preseason game of the season. Playing against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes.
The Cavaliers led most of the game but the Pacers’ reserves used a 16-0 run late and came back from a double-digit hole to make things interesting. The Cavaliers held the Pacers off, 98-93, in front of a sellout crowd of 10,250.
