CHICAGO, Ill. — Former Pacer Jalen Rose and Paul George, currently the face of the Pacers, came together Thursday evening for an event for the Jeep Brand at the Navy Pier.
Rose arrived first, hanging out with frisbee and trick shot performer Brodie Smith and then interacting with the kids. Once Team USA camp concluded five miles away at the United Center, George join Jeep and Rose over by the lake.

After a while, the two had fun on the portable basket erected near a Jeep Wrangler. First, they got in the back of the Wrangler and battled to see who could make the most short-range shots during a 30-second clock.
Well that was too easy, so then they stepped to the front of the car — out beyond the 3-point arc. The weather impacted the turn out and accuracy of the ball. Both had a difficult time gripping the ball and then seeing it go through.
Overall, though, it was a fun special event — especially for the approximately 25 children who are a part of the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy up in Detroit.
