Pacers fans at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night won’t see LeBron James in action, according to ESPN.com’s Chris Haynes.
ESPN Sources: LeBron James to sit out his first game of season when Cleveland Cavaliers face Indiana Pacers on the road this evening.

This would be the first game that James, coming off a near triple-double Tuesday night (28 points, 14 assists, and 9 rebounds) in a win over Toronto, would miss this season. He has helped the reigning NBA champions to a 9-1 record to start the season, the best in the Eastern Conference.
So, DNP-Rest.
Surprise, surprise. This isn’t new for James. The three-time NBA Champion has not played in one of the Cavs’ two annual visits to Indy in each of the last two seasons.
