As players in the National Basketball Association continue to be more fashionable, the league has following suit. Stance, a sock company founded in 2009, won the rights last April to become the NBA’s official on-court sock provider starting with the upcoming 2015-16 season.
With a new sock company on board, new ideas were also discussed. The 30 teams all still have white and black basic socks … but for the first time in league history, every team has two unique pair of socks to wear in games of their choosing.

The navy pair has the Pacers’ logo on them whereas the home white/gray “home” pair features the NBA logo. They will go on sale on October 15th, Stance’s Tzvi Twersky said. Stance is unveiling each team’s new socks in the 30 days leading up to the new season.
Another notable first: Stance’s logo is on the socks, a request the league allowed. The generic white and black Stance socks were first worn by players in May at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago.
