Thad Young is staying put. The Pacers’ starting power forward will exercise his player option, worth $13.7 million, for the 2018-19 season, a league source confirmed to VigilantSports.com.
That means the Pacers are expected to return their top six scorers: Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, Young, and Darren Collison.
Point guard Cory Joseph already exercised his option back in May.
Young averaged 11.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game last year, his 10th NBA season.
Thanks for all the love @Pacers fans and family. Everyone keeps saying welcome back. I never left. I'm here. I promise to continue to give 110% for my brothers & family in blue & gold each day as I have done the past 2 years. #UnfinishedBusiness
