The NBA world was buzzing Wednesday with photos and videos coming out of Los Angeles with LeBron James hooping with UCLA Bruins players.
James owns a home in Hollywood and that’s where he and his family spend the offseason.
Based on the videos he consistently shares over on Instagram, he is fired up and eager for the 2017-18 season to get started. He looks motivated and ready. And he’ll have a few new teammates after the Cavaliers traded an upset Kyrie Irving to Boston for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, and Ante Zizic … plus the Brooklyn Nets’ unprotected first-round pick next summer.
In the video below, James throws it down with two hands with the dime from Pacers point guard Darren Collison, who played at UCLA from 2005-09. … and it’s Victor Oladipo who nearly gets dunked on.

James shared the video to his more than 32 million followers on Instagram, and wrote the following:
“Look both ways before crossing this 🚂 track!! Up up and away! Appreciate the look D. Collison. Great runs earlier today at UCLA! Appreciate the love over there. #striveforgreatness🚀 #SavageMode😤”
Crazy, but true, college hoops note: LeBron played pick-up at UCLA today – and lost to a team with UCLA freshmen Jaylen Hands + Gelo Ball
