During Monday’s Pacers win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Lance Stephenson had some fun with veteran Jason Terry.
They clearly were talking trash talk throughout the game — and it picked up in the second half. Early in the second quarter, Terry appeared to blow in Stephenson’s ear after connecting on a 3-pointer over him.
Then, to start the fourth quarter, Stephenson nailed a trey to put the Pacers’ up by seven points … and then blew in the face of the 40-year-old who would not back down to Lance and one of his signature moves.
“All fun with my boy j terry but I had to get you back,” Stephenson wrote on Instagram.
However, after the game, Terry told Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he did not blow in Lance’s year. “I ain’t gonna steal another man’s move,” he said – even though that’s exactly what it looked like he did.
A lot to unpack here, so let’s get right to it.
