Lance Stephenson entertained the crowd and helped the Myles Turner-led gold team finally defeat Robert Mathis’ group led by young Colts players. And in the bottom of the fifth inning, up 7-1, Lance Stephenson successfully completed the hidden ball trick.
Got ’em.
Stephenson had the softball in his glove, pointed to the crowd, and then tagged quarterback Phil Walker on second base. That ended the inning and garnered plenty of laughs from the estimated 8,000 fans in attendance.
The 10th annual softball challenge, won 7-3 by Turner’s team, is in memory of Caroline Symmes and benefitted the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund.
