Myles Turner arrived in Indianapolis last Friday, about 12 hours after hearing his name announced as the Indiana Pacers’ first-round selection at No. 11.
Since, everything has been a whirlwind for the mature 19-year-old, and he’s adapting well. He’s already gotten multiple workouts in, but Wednesday’s was his first in a team-like atmosphere.
On Wednesday morning the team held its first (of five) practices, part of free agent/rookie camp, ahead of Summer League action that tips off Saturday morning in Orlando.
Afterwards, Turner received instruction from big man coach Popeye Jones, and then he went around the world working on his 3-point shot.
