Three days after signing his first NBA contract, Pacers rookie Alize Johnson gave his mother, Chanelle Johnson, a new car.
Johnson is from Williamsport, Pennsylvania and he’s the oldest of eight kids. He has three brothers and four sisters.
“When I’m running out there on the floor with that really high motor, it’s because of them,” he said at summer league. “I’m the leader. I’m the oldest.”
On July 19th, the 22-year-old forward presented her with a new black Chevrolet Suburban. “You got me everything I ever wanted now it’s my turn I love you mom,” Johnson wrote in an Instagram post sharing video of the surprise.
