Colts punter Pat McAfee is clearly the most outgoing player on the team. He occasionally has his own webstream show, he has amassed over 21,000 followers on twitter, and he is very open with the media.
McAfee does take his job seriously, working this offseason with a personal trainer and kicking coach to stay in shape and get even better.
Entering his third year with the Colts, McAfee is responsible for kickoffs and punts. And now with one of the best place-kicker’s of all-time, Adam Vinatieri, resigning for three more years, it isn’t likely that McAfee will handle field goals any time soon…unless they are from long-range.
Last week, Pat was up in Whitewater, Wisconsin and successfully converted field goals from 65, 70, and 75 yards out. You never know when it could come in handy.
