The Pacers won their regular-season finale Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse over the Atlanta Hawks 104-86. It was their fifth straight win and as it turned out, this last one was absolutely necessary for their season to continue.

With Miami topping Washington and Chicago throttling Brooklyn, it turned out to truly be a must-win game. Paul George, who had a game-high 32, scored 30-plus points for the fourth time in six games.
The NBA Playoffs begin on Saturday with No. 7 Indiana meeting No. 2 Cleveland in a best-of-seven series.
