Indiana University product Troy Williams won the D-League Slam Dunk contest Saturday afternoon in New Orleans.
Williams, currently a member of the Iowa Energy, was victorious in the final round, which took occurred at halftime of the D-League All-Star game Saturday afternoon.
The dunk below sealed the victory for Williams over John Jordan of Raptors 905 in the finals. The other participants were Trahson Burrell, Derek Cooke Jr, Alfonzo McKinnie, and Alex Poythress.

Appearing in 18 D-League games with Iowa, Williams has averaged 14.1 points and 3.8 rebounds, and he’s shot 47 percent. Williams has also played in two dozen NBA games with the Memphis Grizzlies. He’s played in 24 games, including 13 starts, and averaged 5.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Gary, Indiana native Glenn Robinson III is one of four NBA guys competing in the Slam Dunk contest tonight, the featured event on All-Star Saturday.
