If purchasing tickets on the secondary market, be careful. There is a barcode both at the top and bottom of each ticket (whited-out for obvious reasons).

Also, the Lombardi trophy (center) Super Bowl logo (bottom left) are raised.

Those that weren’t fortunate to be given or buy tickets at face value will be paying at least about $2,600 per ticket.

Indianapolis originally planned to expand Lucas Oil stadium from 63,000 to 70,000 but after further inspection, have decided to increase capacity by 5,000, according to the Indianapolis Business Journal.

The additional tickets will be standing-room seats for suites, folded chairs at the rear of sections, and a NFL club in the north end zone.

103,000 fans attended last years game in Dallas (despite the ticket fiasco). 74,000 fans watched the 2010 big game in Miami.

If you have a ticket, remember to arrive early and expect heavy security. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.
