During the Colts first preseason game of the 2013-14 season, NFL referee Jeff Triplette’s hand got caught between Chandler Harnish’s thighs. It’s an unfortunate incident for Triplette that was caught by the local WNDY broadcast. He was just trying to give Harnish a pat on the rear end after helping him up. Instead, things got awkward.
Triplette (No. 42), a retired Army Reserve colonel, has been in the league since 1996 and a referee since ’99.
