The Indiana Fever got exactly who they wanted. With the ninth selection, the Fever drafted Stanford point guard Jeanette Pohlen in the 2011 WNBA Draft.

The 6-foot guard averaged 15.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game at Stanford. She was named the 2011 Pac-10 Player of the Year and selected to the 2010 and 2011 All-Pac-10 Team.

Fever fail to close out Liberty in the Garden

Indiana looked to win their first series in franchise history as the lower-seed. Indiana lost the lead in the final minute and the Liberty advance to the Eastern Conference Finals 77-74.

Indiana jumped out to a 26-21 lead at the end of the first quarter. But New York was relentless. The Liberty went on a 11 to 2 run to begin the second. Indiana led …

Fever look to even up series at home against Liberty

Every team in the east is very competitive. The top-seeded Washington Mystics already lost their series against …

Time for Tamika to ‘Catch’ the MVP

Catchings is a remarkable, accomplished, and dedicated player that outworks her competitors. In my nine years working with the Fever and every other WNBA team, not one player works harder, cares more, and is a better representative of the league than …

MSG is popular for so many things. The present Garden hosts approximately 320 events a year. Madison Square Garden is the third busiest arena in the world in regards of ticket sales. …

Fever Remain Optimistic in Talent-Heavy Eastern Conference

The Indiana Fever (9-6) finished a six day, three game road trip, falling to second place (in the Eastern Conference) Washington (10-5) 68-65. It was another challenging lost for this veteran group. The Fever took care of the basketball, finishing the contest with only 12 turnovers. What hurt the team was playing from behind most of the game and not converting on critical plays down …

A Different Vantage Point- WNBA Referees Humanized

Working with WNBA officials has been a spectacular and unique experience in my time at Conseco Fieldhouse. I get to see a different side of the people fans and teams alike love to yell and scream at. I’ll be the first one to say refs *appear* to get things wrong a lot. At the same time, I by no means desire to wear the striped …
