Ep. 70: Scot Pollard

Scot Pollard played in the NBA for five teams over 11 seasons, spanning 1997 through 2008. In his final season, he won a NBA championship with the Boston Celtics.

Pollard, 42, lives in Indianapolis and has had no trouble filling the void that is left after basketball. He has dabbled in comedy and will soon launch his own podcast, Planet Pollard.

Edmond Sumner continues to progress through rehabilitation from a torn left ACL suffered last January while at Xavier University.

Over the last few weeks, he has been on the court shooting and doing light drills.

VIDEO: Oladipo sings in the shower as Stephenson meets with the media

Victor Oladipo is always doing something. He’s on his phone as the media enters the locker room postgame. Then, a team staffer wraps an ice bag around both of his knees before Vic talks to the media.

Victor Oladipo is back – and in the starting lineup – after being sidelined for one game due to a bruised right knee. The injury occurred in their 107-104 win over Toronto Friday night. He was kept out of Saturday’s home loss to Boston (108-98).…

Ep. 69: Kelli Towles, Pacers’ Director of Community Relations

Kelli Towles is in her 24th year with the Indiana Pacers heading up the community relations department. She is in charge of community outreach, and involving the players to positively impact Central Indiana.

There are NBA initiatives, such as Jr. NBA Week and Hoops For Troops, and then there are dozen of events unique to the Pacers.

Towles and her team — which includes Darnell …

Victor Oladipo open to singing the national anthem before Pacers home game

Victor Oladipo wouldn’t commit to singing the United States’ national anthem before a Pacers game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, but he isn’t ruling it out.

“Maybe one day, we’ll see,” he said with a big grin.

Oladipo is beloved in Indiana for what he did down in Bloomington while at IU, and for what he has already done in his short time with the Pacers. …
