Indiana basketball summer update: Jeremy Hollowell

After a tremendous season last year, Indiana welcomes a top ten recruiting class – that covers every position – to Bloomington. Known as ‘The Movement,’ the group consists of Yogi Ferrell, Jeremy Hollowell, Ron Patterson, Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Peter Jurkin.

Hollowell, from Lawrence Central High School, is the first freshman interviewed in the summer series on IUHoosiers.com. The 6-8, 200-pound forward averaged 18.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior and was named to the Indiana All-Star team.

Now at IU, he’s determined to improve his game and help take the Hoosiers to new heights. He admits, this summer has been a big transition for him and the other four freshman, living on their own for the first time and having even higher expectations.

As for where he wants to improve the most — his conditioning and getting even stronger.
