Oladipo: ‘Let’s go shock the world’

Victor Oladipo, Pacers, Bankers Life Fieldhouse

With their playoff spot locked up for the 2018 NBA Playoffs, Victor Oladipo was held out of Tuesday’s regular-season finale, along with Thad Young and Bojan Bogdanovic.

Oladipo does have a sore right toe after he stubbed it Sunday in Charlotte. However, Sunday was more about giving him a much-deserved game off and to ensure he is healthy for the postseason which begins this weekend, either in Cleveland or Philadelphia.

Looking sharp — expect anything different? — in a tailored suit, Oladipo was handed the microphone before tip-off and addressed fans on Fan Appreciation Night.

“Yo yo yo what’s up everybody. Pacers fans, how y’all doing?

“On behalf of my teammates and the entire Pacers organization, I wanted to thank you guys for a tremendous regular season and basketball season, but we’re not done yet. We’re not done yet. The playoffs start this weekend so I look forward to seeing all you guys there.

“Let’s go shock the world.”
