In less than a year with the Pacers, Victor Oladipo continues to etch himself in the Pacers’ record books. In his fifth season as a pro, Oladipo was voted to the All-NBA Third Team by a panel of  media members around the world for the first time.
This comes one day after Oladipo was recognized for his defense, voted to the All-Defensive First Team. Victor becomes the fifth Pacers player in franchise history to be voted to an All-NBA team, joining Reggie Miller, Jermaine O’Neal, and Paul George.
Outside of the NBA’s MVP award, this is the next best honor. So much so that earning this honor can lead to a supermax contract for select players still with their original teams.
Oladipo easily had his best season in basketball, posting career highs in points (23.1), rebounds (5.2), assists (4.3), field goal percentage (47.7), and three-point percentage (37.1). More than just a career high, Oladipo’s 2.4 assists per game led the league.
