Victor Oladipo hosting basketball camp in Indy Aug. 4-5

Victor Oladipo, Pacers

It was a breakout season for Pacers guard Victor Oladipo, and he wants to give back to the city that has given him so much already.

The 2013 IU grad will be holding his inaugural basketball camp, for kids in grades 1-12, on August 4th and 5th at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis.

Grades 1-6 will go from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm each day, followed by grades 7-12 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The two-day camp costs $199, and registration opens at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 29th.

All campers will receive 1) a t-shirt, 2) camp photo with Victor, and 3) a souvenir autograph (no outside items permitted).

Participants will learn fundamental basketball skills and have the opportunity to meet and interact with the star guard. Oladipo will be on-site to direct the event and will be joined by a selection of prep and college coaches from the area.

Also of Note:

Mavericks point guard Yogi Ferrell, Oladipo’s teammate for one season in Bloomington, will also host a basketball camp at Park Tudor this summer. Ferrell’s two-day skills camp is set for July 21-22 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for kids 8 to 16 years old. The cost is $99.

Activites include training, drills, games, motivational/educational speakers and the chance to be taught by current and past professional and collegiate players.
