Pacers guard C.J. Watson holds Twitter Q&A with fans

Pacers guard C.J. Watson is coming off his first season as a Pacer, where he averaged 6.6 points and 1.7 assists per game in a backup role of about 19 minutes per game. He was particularly missed during the team’s slide in March as he dealt with hamstring and elbow injuries.

Watson is quiet by nature. He’s a very thoughtful person – it just takes a while to get him to peel back. Wednesday night, Watson took questions from fans on Twitter during a question and answer session on behalf of Nutrilite Health.

During the hour-long session, he revealed where he got his nickname, what it’s like playing in front of Larry Bird, who he’s closest with on the team and what he’s focused on improving this summer, among many other things.
