Video: Due to the lockout, a NFL player interviews for a day job

NFL players are currently jobless, locked out of team facilities. The owners and players have yet to come to an agreement, so the future is unknown for both parties.

Most players are working out on their own, or in the Colts case, they are having workouts led by players (aka Peyton Manning). This isn’t a big deal for veterans because they know what is expected of them and what they should do during the offseason. It really hurts the free agents and undrafted free agents who are unsure about their future in the NFL.

With no team-affiliated workouts happening, we’ve already seen Chad Ochocinco ride a bull, and others do various stunts.

I came across this video the other day and just had to share. This fake NFL player who is in need of a job, was brought in for a interview. The boss doesn’t know anything about the NFL, ESPN and is essentially looking for a runner—one to answer phones, make copies and do desk work.

This interview makes a mockery of NFL players, though it does seem very representative of 90% of the players. Check it out.
